December 2025 Prayer Targets

For a child will be born for us,a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

 

For The Body of Christ, we pray:

For our brothers and sisters in Christ suffering violent persecution in Nigeria, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo — may God comfort the grieving, strengthen the faithful, and protect those in danger. We pray for justice against those who shed innocent blood, and for the Spirit to sustain the witness of the church even in the face of unspeakable violence. May the global body of Christ rise in prayer and support for those who are able to take action for the persecuted. More details HERE

 

For our Church services and our individual lives to faithfully and clearly proclaim Christ over the noise of the culture, drawing our non-churchgoing friends, family, and neighbors to hear and respond in faith to His loving offer of salvation.

 

That we take opportunities to minister to those who are shut in and longing for companionship, may we seek God’s leading for ways to be His tangible presence and assurance that they are not forgotten.

 

Strength and encouragement for those who struggle under the weight of hardship as a single parent, comfort for those grieving the loss of loved ones, and for Christ's loving truth to penetrate the hearts of those who hear the lie of the enemy that they're too far gone for God's restoration. 

 

For our Nation and communities, we pray:

Protection, comfort and strength for our National Guard troops and their families. May God grant healing to the injured, peace to the bereaved, and courage to all who continue to serve in the face of danger.

 

For Chaplains serving our first responders, jails, hospitals, and military, may God strengthen them with wisdom, compassion, and resilience as they bring His presence into places of crisis, confinement, and combat. Rest and refreshment for teachers, faculty, and administrators during Christmas break. We pray for safe, wholesome activities for children and protection for those lacking structure and supervision.

 

For families under financial stress, we pray for wisdom, provision, and peace for making ends meet and getting free from burdens of debt. 

 

For wise and compassionate solutions for those experiencing homelessness that help them work through root causes that lead to transformation and freedom.

 

God's blessings for Perspectives: a 15-week course that is designed to challenge the Church to embrace her calling to partner with God to fulfill His promise to bring salvation to every nation, tribe, and people. We praise God for the generous love gifts gathered to bless families through EveryChild! We pray for their continued favor with our DHS to support their mission to provide safe and caring foster homes and bring restoration to broken families.
