June 2026 Prayer Targets

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone. It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. Titus 2:11-14

 

For the Church, we pray:

• to be united in following Christ by living godly lives that reflect Christ's transforming power, renouncing ungodliness and worldly passions, zealous for good works that edify the Body;

• for our spiritual leaders and teachers to be refreshed in their commitment to train God's people of all ages; pray for ministries to our children, youth, families, singles, and seniors, that all will be filled with the glorious hope of our great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ \o/

• for new believers to grow their roots of faith through discipleship and godly relationships, finding joy in learning to serve in their giftings.

• Father's Day, June 21, 2026. We pray that our celebrations would honor and encourage fathers in all stages. May they grow in grace to lead their families in The Word with love and courageous faith, and be encouraged as they realize the power of their example.

 

For the persecuted church of Cuba, we pray Holy Spirit empowering to hold fast to Jesus, that they may bring Hope and Light to the many who've suffered for generations under authoritarian rule, poverty, and censorship. Pray that gospel resources are wisely distributed, and for wisdom and restraint among world leaders to bring peaceful solutions to their deepening humanitarian crisis. https://www.opendoors.org/en-US/persecution/countries/cuba/

 

For our nation and communities, that our elected leaders will forsake worldly goals and pursue God's wisdom for:

• promoting a robust economy for businesses to thrive and provide jobs.

• addressing the root causes of homelessness and addiction with compassion and truth

• investing in community safety: city, county, state law enforcement, search and rescue teams, as many need funding for more personnel.

 

Pray for our summer ministries: Child Evangelism Fellowship 5-day clubs, Christian camps, and Vacation Bible Schools to be fully staffed with well-trained leaders, camp counselors, and volunteers; for receptive hearts of all who attend, and for their safety, spiritual growth, and lasting connections to their local church.

 

For weddings this season: pray that couples will be joined in God‑honoring ceremonies, the gospel will be clearly declared, and that families will be united in love and peace. May those gathering experience the Holy Spirit’s presence in life‑changing ways, whether married or single, finding renewal, unity, and fresh devotion to Christ.

 

For God's blessing on these community outreach events that promote unity of the Church, bring the light of Christ, and provide meaningful, gospel-centered conversations.

For the Lebanon Strawberry Festival June 4 - 7, 2026, we pray for God’s protection over all who attend, for joyful volunteers, and for delightful connections among neighbors and friends, regardless of the weather (though comfortable, pleasant weather would be awesome). https://www.lebanonstrawberryfest.com

 

 

Mid-Valley Women of Christ

Pray for our board members to continue to rely on God's leading as they prepare for the Priscilla Shirer Virtual Event on August 22, 2026, and for the selection of our Fall community Bible study.
