Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful, as you pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may declare it clearly, as I should. Colossians 4:2-4
Pray Oregon 2nd Tuesday fast and pray
May the Body of Christ to be devoted to prayer, be united in love, seek increased opportunities to boldly proclaim and minister the gospel, as light penetrating darkness.
By an outpouring of Holy Spirit, may many prodigals and unbelievers be awakened to their need to be reconciled to God and live for His purposes.
Our government leaders and law enforcement to be unified, to seek God's wisdom for order, peace and stability of our communities, taking action against violence and lawlessness.
School districts and teachers making adjustments for how to meet and how they will accommodate for safety to slow the spread of covid
Parents, and families and students that will be challenged by the school districts' decisions and fluid schedules
High school and college graduates having difficulty finding jobs or deciding on future paths to seek first God's kingdom and righteousness, relying on His wisdom
Healing and salvation for those suffering from covid, compassion for the elderly and those isolated from families.
Medical Professionals, First Responders, Search and Rescue, and chaplains who minister to the hurting during this busy season to work with godly compassion, strength to endure long hours and increased patient loads.
Community Bible Study:
God’s preparing the way to proceed with Haggai study: leaders to be raised up and equipped,
venues (churches, etc) open,
women hungry for God’s word and connection
Faith based ministries and media outlets (radio and Christian News Northwest paper) : Wisdom for fund raising, ability to overcome financial shortfall.
Community Ministry Highlight: Mid-Valley Fellowship
(a local Christian organization helping individuals obtain sexual and relational wholeness in the midst of a broken and confused world)
Praise: God is bringing people and providing the means for us to continue to meet with clients/participants and as leaders, virtually and in person, in this season!
Ability to safely meet in person for Support Programs and Annual Benefit Dinner, clarity and unity for how these will happen this year
Formation of the volunteer leadership team for Support Programs; courage and willingness for volunteers to be involved in this way
Wisdom, clarity, and unity over the development of how our annual benefit dinner will look this year
Staff, board, and leadership to increase in personal growth and unity in the Spirit
New leadership development internship and cohort class kicks-off in September; protection over these individuals as they pursue developing leadership skills to serve God in ministry
Looking for two new residents to be a part of our intentional residential community; God's will to be clear in the selection process and in getting the word out.
