September 2026 Prayer Targets

The LORD is slow to anger but great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet... The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of distress; He cares for those who trust in Him... Nahum 1:3,7a

 

For Persecuted believers in Haiti, we pray God's powerful presence to bring healing from the recent murderous attack, unity among the believers to bring provision, strength, and comfort. Pray God's enabling the authorities to bring justice and stability to the chaos. Pray God's lovingkindness to surround them with light and truth, and for repentance of the guilty.

For Nepal/Tibet disaster victims, pray for coordination between governments, for search and rescue operations to safely access the remote area, and unity among Christian ministries as they bring supplies, relief, and hope in Jesus' name.

 

For Oregon and our communities, pray:

May your local county boards and city councils have courage to seek God's wisdom to govern with truth and integrity, to stem the tide of ungodly agendas.

 

God's protection and wisdom over your local public, private, and homeschool students, teachers, administrators, and bus drivers. Pray for students with special needs to be supported. We ask God's help to calm the hearts of students facing anxiety in new learning environments.

 

Discernment for kids as they make new friends and resist peer pressure to form ungodly alliances. 

 

Families adjusting to new schedules to make time for conversations that build connection and strengthen faith; wisdom for parents to equip kids to process and interpret events through a biblical worldview. A resource for parents.
