The Church

• Pray for the Church to grow in sacrificial love, remain steadfast in righteous and holy living, and find unity amidst our diversity.

• Pray for protection over ministry leaders, teachers, and their families so that they may serve with wisdom, humility, and joy.

• Pray for an unwavering faith in God's power to accomplish His purposes through our prayers.

 

Our Nation

• Pray that elected and unelected officials will operate in the fear of God and encounter His transforming love.

• Pray for spiritual awakening, that eyes would be opened to the gravity of sin, leading to repentance from the idolatry of cultural icons (entertainment, sports, money, power, influence, etc.).

 

Our Communities

• Pray for all returning to various schools (private, public, and home-educated): for physical and spiritual protection, for parents to be vigilant against corrupt influences, for godly wisdom for teachers, staff, administrators, coaches, bus drivers, and for students to find safety, care, and good friends in their new environments.

• Pray for struggling marriages and families to find healing and reconciliation and to seek effective Christian counseling and support in local churches.

• Pray for local businesses to be blessed with the ability to meet payroll in this challenging economy, maintain integrity with employees, customers, and suppliers, and find favor in easing governmental regulations and taxation.

• Pray for ministries to the addicted and homeless to be staffed with believers who can offer freedom in Christ and be led to those seeking a way out.

Special Events

• Serve INC's Production of "Fiddler on the Roof": Coming to Albany, this Broadway musical will be performed at the Russell Tripp Performance Center at Linn-Benton Community College for two weekends only: Friday-Sunday, September 6-8, and Friday-Sunday, September 13-15, with matinees on Sundays. Pray for a blessed production, that the performance would touch hearts and bring the community together in a spirit of joy and reflection. Tickets available here.

• Oregon Ag Prayer Breakfast: September 10 at Linn County Expo Center, 8:00 a.m. (Free event). Pray for God's presence as farmers, loggers, ranchers, and believers gather for food, fellowship, and prayer. All are welcome! Register here.

 

Mid-Valley Women of Christ 

• Pray for God to draw women to our community Bible Study: Sermon on the Mount, a 9-week study by Jen Wilkin beginning the week of September 16, 2024. See locations and register here.

• Ask for God's blessing over our Bible Study Coordinator's Breakfast on Saturday, September 7th. Pray that each attendee will be encouraged and inspired as they prepare to welcome women from their community.

• Praise God for the wonderful turnout at the Priscilla Shirer Going Beyond simulcast! We thank the hospitable team at Lebanon First Assembly of God, who graciously met our every need. Priscilla delivered a powerful word to strengthen us in the Lord. Anthony and the team led us in joyful worship. The Lord never fails to deepen our connection to Him and one another when we gather with open hearts!
