March 2026 Prayer Targets

Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals the deep and hidden things. He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him. Daniel 2:20-22

 

The Body of Christ: 

For our pastors and teachers to be strengthened through God's word, modeling Holy Spirit dependence for obedience and Christ-likeness. We pray for a spirit of prayer and repentance in all congregations as we prepare for this Easter season. Pray God's preparing many hearts to respond to Jesus' loving sacrifice.

 

Pray for the Persecuted Church in Iran, 

God's protection and provision for their daily needs. May their courageous faith and powerful witness for Jesus to draw many to himself. https://www.vomcanada.com/ir-2026-02-12.htm

 

For our Nation:

Our elected leaders and those whom they appoint to be united in advocating for what is right in God's eyes and for what they would do for themselves economically, socially, etc. 

 

Pray that the fear of the Lord would come upon rulers of nations currently in turmoil to be lead by God's wisdom and authority.  May those seeking power for evil agendas be thwarted and replaced by righteous leaders.

 

Protection for our military; may their decisions be effective in restraining evil and rooting out corruption.

 

Oregon and communities, we pray:

For our governor and state legislatures working hurriedly to pass bills before they adjourn March 8th, may they be limited to pass only what is fiscally and socially helpful for our state according to God's standards. 

 

As the March 10 deadline to file for candidacy in the May primaries approaches, we ask God to raise up bold candidates who will create and support policies that will strengthen families and uphold biblical values. 

 

God's healing for the many struggling with illness, resulting in hardship, experience His faithful love and provision.

 

Refreshment, healthy relational bonding, and safety for students and teachers enjoying spring break. Pray God's care and protection for children lacking supervision.

 

God's hand over our strained healthcare systems, medical care shortages, clinics closing, loss of birthing centers. Pray for strength and support for weary providers, and wisdom for those making budget and restructuring decisions. 

 

Mid-Valley Women of Christ: We give God thanks and praise as we complete Jennifer Rothchild's Heaven study, and ask for continued blessings on His word for our obedience and growth in the connections we've made and deepened. 

May we be unified in praise as we gather to celebrate our Savior's amazing love at our Praise and Worship night, March 13, Albany City Church.  Come hear the powerful testimony of Vanessa Hutchison! Doors open at 6:00pm. It will not be livestreamed, so plan to attend in person!
