November 2025 Prayer Targets
I will sing praises to God’s name! I will magnify him as I give him thanks! That will please the Lord more than an ox or a bull with horns and hooves. The oppressed look on – let them rejoice! You who seek God, may you be encouraged! For the Lord listens to the needy; He does not despise his captive people.
Psalm 69:30-33
For the Body of Christ, we pray that even in hardship, we lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving— knowing that our heartfelt worship pleases Him more than ritual offerings. May we demonstrate that even when oppressed, we find joy and courage, knowing that He hears our cries and cares for us in our distress.
We pray for Life Bible Church: God's wisdom and favor as they work with government agencies to repair the riverbank and stop erosion of their church property, and for the release of funding to help share the costs. May the unified faith of this congregation be a strong witness of your goodness and glory to all involved.
Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: May our churches remember to support the family of God beyond our borders who suffer for their unwavering commitment to Christ. May our prayers for them be effective in encouraging and strengthening their endurance. May we not forget them in our comfort but be refined by their example - taking up our cross to follow Jesus. Join in praying with the worldwide body of Christ here https://www.persecution.com/ or https://equippingthepersecuted.org/#
For our nation, our state, and our communities, we pray:
Pray for God's help for storm recovery for the islands devastated by Hurricane Melissa. May His presence inhibit every form of exploitation, such as looting or price-gouging, and His power be at work to enable aid to arrive to restore hospitals and vital services.
For our ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents: God's wisdom and insight as they handle cases of trafficking, exploitation, organized crime, etc. Pray for their protection and for their effectiveness not to be compromised by websites and apps that promote doxing (exposing their personal information to the public without their consent).
For those working and volunteering at homeless shelters, food distribution centers, church soup kitchens, Meals on Wheels, and holiday food boxes deliveries. Pray they will be fully supplied to meet increasing needs, and for Christ's love to enable gospel conversations.
For the Veteran's Day Parade, Tuesday, November 11th, we pray for God's covering of safety for all parade-goers! May our veterans feel honored, and their families be blessed as we remember their sacrifice. Pray for those who are underserved to find provision for their needs and hope in Christ's redeeming love. https://linncountyveteransdayparade.org/

For Albany's Mid-Valley Fellowship, a ministry dedicated to helping individuals obtain sexual and relational wholeness, we ask for God's blessing for a generous outpouring at their benefit dinner on November 14th. Pray for strongholds to be broken and freedom to be found through their counseling and discipleship. https://www.midvalleyfellowship.org/

Mid Valley Women of Christ
As we complete our Esther study, we praise God for His presence that draws us together and binds our hearts through the Word and prayer. May we be strengthened to courageously live out His calling in our various assignments, for His glory!
We pray that our community outreach to EveryChild, a nonprofit that mobilizes the community to uplift children and families impacted by foster care in Oregon, will greatly support and communicate God's heart to restore broken families. For more ways to help, go here: https://everychildoregon.org/linnbentonlincoln/get-involved/volunteer/
Pray for God's direction for our Bible study selection team as they choose our winter study, for our board members' health, and for the unity of the Holy Spirit as we plan for the coming year!
