Officers & Board Members

Belinda Wildung edit.JPG

Belinda Wildung, President

As a native Oregonian, Belinda worked as an executive assistant for nearly her entire adult life, retiring in 2016. After giving her heart to Christ in 1988, she began attending women's bible studies. This is where the Lord revealed the enemy's tactics in the workplace to deplete and rob women of God's unique design for them. The Lord's gift to Belinda, to love and encourage women with His word and her testimony, intensified during a missions trip to Cambodia in 2011. Simple hugs with women in a church revealed great suffering, but it was transcended by the unity of hope in His love and healing power. Voted onto the MVWC Board in August of 2018, Belinda is excited and blessed to serve on this mission to "leave no woman behind." She and her husband Stanton are active members of Life Bible Church in Harrisburg, where she has been a table leader at both the Single Mom's Conference, and Mid-Valley Women of Christ Bible Studies. They live in Brownsville, have four adult daughters and nine grandchildren. Belinda enjoys the outdoors, DIY projects, humor, and traveling to spend time with friends and family.

Lagea 10 2020.jpg

Lagea Mull, Vice President

Lagea is a passionate woman of Christ who joined our board in January of 2017. She was elected Vice President in November 2018. Her mission statement is to inspire and encourage women to connect with Jesus so He can transform their lives. As a pastor's daughter & former military spouse, she learned early that women need to be connected. Since her early 20's, she has served & participated in women's ministry at the various churches she has attended. In her 30's and early 40's, while her husband served in the Air Force, she continued to serve in churches. Still, she expanded her reach into the military spouse community. She was appointed by unit leadership to act as the liaison between the commander and the families. She was also elected to positions in the local base spouses club. Even as God was granting her much success in the military spouse world with various awards & titles, she knew that wasn't where He ultimately wanted her. The time after her husband's Air Force retirement, she continued to seek His direction actively. In the summer of 2016, He confirmed her calling to minister to women and also their family's relocation to beautiful Sweet Home, Oregon. She currently serves as the city's Communications Specialist and sits on two local boards. In her free time, she loves introducing her husband to the wonders of Oregon, spending time with their adorable grandson, and tracking down their five young adult children (& their spouses.)

Diana Denham, Treasurer

In 2005 Diana and her husband moved to the Willamette Valley from Seattle, WA, as they answered the call to full-time pastoral ministry. They served in three churches where she organized and led women’s Bible studies during that time. Diana has always had a passion for learning and studying God’s Word. When she discovers some nugget God uses to grow her, she has to share it with others. Working full-time as the Finance & Human Resources Manager for Linn County Health Services left her less time to write and prepare for her studies. Diana was thrilled to be introduced to Mid-Valley Women of Christ and partner with them to host and facilitate community-wide studies during the last several years. She lives in Lebanon with her husband, Jon, and her twelve-year-old son, Tristan. In her downtime, she likes relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea, cooking up new recipes, traveling, kayaking, and walking her Yorkipoo, Remy.
Diana joined our Board of Directors in March of 2022.

Karna Berg_edited.jpg

Karna Berg

Karna joined our board in May 2018. She became a new creation in Christ as a young college student in 1979.  Attending wonderful Bible-teaching churches and meeting wonderful friends, who served as examples and mentors, enabled her steady growth in Christ. Active devotion to Christ’s body has provided many opportunities to serve, ranging from a full summer missions trip to the Philippines to numerous local church and community ministries.  Participating in several MVWC Bible Studies has served to keep her heart engaged, challenged and tender to God’s heart for rescuing the perishing, strengthening the weak and standing with and holding up the arms of those who lead the way.  Karna and her husband, Mark, are the parents of four children and serve as elders at Adair Community Church. She is active in MVWC Bible studies, Community Prayer and Bible Study Fellowship. Professionally, Karna is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. By his grace, she serves to support the mission of Mid-Valley Women of Christ which inspires love and promotes unity for God’s glory.

Karen has been participating in and co-leading MVWC studies for the past 11 years. She is currently on staff with Corvallis Evangelical Church as their Equipping Pastor - helping people to understand how God has gifted & wired them, and helping them find places to serve in the church and in the community. Her heart's desire is to see women thrive and not just survive. She loves to help women know and understand the Bible for themselves. She has been married to Jeff for 35 years, and they have 4 grown children, three granddaughters, and three grandsons. She also does the bookkeeping for their business, Corvallis Plumbing Inc. She loves decorating, painting, scrapbooking, reading, and remodeling.

Karen Monk

Karen joined our board in August 2017 with a strong background in computers, having earned an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering from Chemeketa Community College. She holds a Certificate in Computer Networking from Linn Benton Community College as well. An active volunteer for many years in the Keizer area, Karen served as the Assistants Group Lead for EVAK through Keizer Emergency Management and was on the Keizer CERT (community emergency response team) through FEMA. She is currently in her 3rd year volunteering as an electrical mentor for the Albany high school robotics team, SWARM. An active learner of new things, Karen has enjoyed classes at LBCC in Hebrew and violin. Currently, she also assists the Women’s Ministries team in planning and facilitating women’s events at Valley Christian Center. She and her husband Darrell are both natives of Salem, who now reside in Albany.  Karen is the mother of one son and is experiencing much joy in raising her grandson. The Lord has placed a deep desire in Karen’s heart to help women know and be known by other women at a deeper level. Participating in Community Bible Studies, helping the women of her church, and serving on the MVWC board has brought forth the realization of her calling to reach women.

Bonnie Shown

Bonnie has enjoyed attending the MVWC Community-wide Bible Studies since 2014 and has been a Bible Study Coordinator at her church for the past five studies. In January 2020, she joined the MVWC board after she felt God was calling her to help connect the Willamette Valley women and help them build and strengthen their relationships with Jesus. Bonnie is a member of Grace Point Church in Albany, the same church she attended in middle school and high school. Bonnie loves to serve her church by singing on the worship team, being active with Ladies Ministries, helping with media, Sunday school, or wherever she can lend a hand. She has been married to her husband, Aaron, since 2012 and has an adult stepson, Ben. Since 2007 Bonnie has been a Kindergarten teacher in Albany. In her spare time, she loves to travel, sing, read, bake, and spend time with friends, family, and her dogs.
