Our Calendar

Mid-Valley Women of Christ offers Bible-based outreach events for women several times each year. Valley-Wide Nights of Praise and Worship are held after each Community Bible study. These events are free and open to all women, even if they did not attend the studies. Fellowship, testimonies, and special guest speakers make these praise events true highlights of the year for women of the valley. In addition, Mid-Valley Women of Christ sponsors Half Day Prayer Summits and Unity Breakfasts in various communities, and occasionally we host a simulcast featuring national-level speakers and teachers.

2023 Fall Valley-Wide Praise & Worship Night

Come and be a part of an inspiring evening with the Mid-Valley Women of Christ on November 17th, 2023, at 7pm. Join believers from across the valley for a Valley-Wide Praise & Worship Night, lifting our voices in unity and faith. Hosted at Life Community Church at 4900 Hwy 99, Corvallis, OR 97330, doors will welcome you from 6:00 pm, leading into a worship session at 7:00 pm. We're thrilled to have Kathy Howard, a renowned author and speaker, as our special guest. While the event is open to all women without any cost, kindly note there won't be childcare provisions. Donations will be accepted. Embrace this night filled with devotion and camaraderie. Can't wait to see you!

Kathy's Bio:

Kathy Howard is a treasure hunter. She hunts for the creamiest chocolate and richest coffee. She searches for cherished stories of faith that still impact hearts. And, she digs deep into God’s Word, mining His eternal truths for herself and to share with others. With more than 30 years of experience, Kathy has taught in dozens of states, internationally, and in a wide range of venues including multi-church conferences and large online events. She has a Masters of Christian Education and a certificate in Women’s Ministry from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary. Kathy is the author of 12 books, including five Bible studies, the “Deep Rooted” devotional series, and “Heirloom: Living and Leaving a Legacy of Faith.” She also serves on the LifeWay Women’s Ministry Training Team. Kathy and her husband live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area near family. They have three married children, six grandchildren, and one accidental dog.

Valley-wide Spring 2023 Praise & Worship

Join Mid-Valley Women of Christ for an unforgettable Valley-Wide Praise & Worship Night on March 17th, 2023, at 7pm. Come together with fellow believers from all over the valley and lift your voices in praise and worship. The event will be held at Life Community Church located at 4900 Hwy 99, Corvallis, OR 97330. Doors open at 6:00 pm, with worship beginning at 7:00 pm. Our guest speaker will be the author, speaker, and musician Kelly Minter. The event is free and open to all women, but please note that childcare will not be available. Take advantage of this powerful night of worship and fellowship. See you there!

Kelly Minter Bio:

Kelly Minter is an author, Bible teacher, and podcaster. Her most recent Bible study from Lifeway publishers is called Encountering God: Cultivating Habits of Faith Through the Spiritual Disciplines. Kelly speaks around the country and also works closely with Justice & Mercy International in the Amazon jungles of Brazil as well as the Eastern European country of Moldova.

Kelly is deeply passionate about teaching the Bible and believes it permeates all of life. When she’s not writing, traveling, or speaking she enjoys time in her garden, cooking, and being with her friends and family. A Southern transplant, she delights in long walks, her local church, meaningful conversation, and coffee in her Justice & Mercy International diner mug.
